Snake River Section 
The Snake River Section is a legally constituted unit of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, Inc., encompassing a specific geographical area. Our members are given the opportunity to network with their peers and hear valuable presentations through our activities.

10th Annual Ray Petrun Memorial Golf Tournament

Oregon Trail Country Club in Soda Springs
Golf season is right around the corner! The 10th Annual Ray Petrun Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday, June 21st, at the Oregon Trail Country Club in Soda Springs. We cordially invite you to play 18 holes of golf, join us for a Western Dutch Oven dinner and support the local SME chapter. This tournament is our annual fundraising event for student scholarships.
The tournament is limited to 18, 5-member teams, so don’t delay! The registration fee is $60 per individual and $300 per team, which includes green fees, dinner and a modest donation. If you sign up as an individual, we would be happy to help you find a team. Please register,
with payment, using the registration/donation form.
We are going to try something new this year to give your team an additional competitive edge. We are selling up to two Mulligans per player (10 per team) for $5 each. Mulligans can be used to replay your shot anywhere on the course during the tournament. For those that are especially skilled, lucky, or both, Todd Hunzeker Ford will be sponsoring Hole # 8 for a chance to win a new car. Make a hole in one on #8 and win a new car, "It's Just That Simple."
We will be awarding donated prizes for both men and women in the following categories: longest drive, closest to the pin, and longest putt. We are seeking donations of prizes. This is an opportunity to promote your company by offering merchandise with your company’s logo.
Mike's Pro Shop is available to purchase donated gifts and is fully stocked with a lot of great equipment. We will recognize each company’s donation during the awards ceremony.
