Southwestern Wyoming Section 
The Southwestern Wyoming Section is a legally constituted unit of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, Inc., encompassing a specific geographical area. Our members are given the opportunity to network with their peers and hear valuable presentations through our activities.

Next meeting:
Our May SME Meeting will be on the 16th at Ted’s Supper Club. Our speaker will be Jesse Dimick with Caterpillar’s Global Mining Division. After an excellent December presentation on Cat’s room-and-pillar lineup, he has prepared a presentation on their longwall equipment line. If interested, please join us on the 16th, starting at 5:30 with a social hour. We will also be doing elections for 2013-2014 officers before the presentation. If you would like to attend the meeting, have any officer nominations, or are interested in being an officer yourself, please let me know by 3:00 on the 15th. Looking forward to seeing you all there!
