Description Huntsman is a global chemical manufacturer with annual revenues exceeding $10 billion. Huntsman performance products offers a number of reagents for the mining industry, having a specific focus on flotation and hydrometallurgy. Flotation reagents include frothers, dispersants, depressants and some specialty collectors. Coagulants are offered for hydrometallurgical applications. Filter aid and dust control products are also available. Huntsman’s range of frothers covers the low strength needs of flotation up to the highest strength frothers required for coarse particle recovery. Problem minerals, such as pyrite, clays, talc and carbonaceous (“preg robbing”) material are effectively countered by the Huntsman range of dispersants and depressants.
