Description Separation Technologies LLC (ST) is a specialized technology provider that has developed a triboelectrostatic separator allowing the mineral processing industry to beneficiate fine materials with a dry, low energy consumption method. The ST belt separator is ideally suited for separation of very fine (<1 µm) to moderately coarse (300 µm) materials with very high throughputs. The technology has been applied to minerals including calcium carbonates, talc, and potash and has been extensively used for fly ash beneficiation.
