Awarded To: Andy B. Wallace - "The CORDEX Team"
“In recognition of 35 years of consistently successful exploration for ore deposits, following Livermore's previous discovery of Carlin, which led to the discovery and expansion of several major ore deposits, including Pinson, Preble, Dee, Marigold, Daisy, and Stonehouse/Lone Tree Mines, and for the lecture "Sustaining an Exploration Program for Forty Years"
The Robert M. Dreyer Award in Applied Economic Geology, established as an annual Award in 1999, recognizes outstanding achievements in applied economic geology. The outstanding achievements so recognized must have been accomplished through commercial exploration or development of metalliferous and/or nonmetalliferous mineral deposits.
