The MPD Outstanding Young Engineer Award   

The MPD Outstanding Young Engineer Award, established in 1984, recognizes significant contribution of a young individual within the Mineral Processing/Extractive discipline.

Eligibility for the award will include: 1) the nominee must be a graduate engineer actively working in a Mineral Processing Extractive discipline; 2) the nominee must be a member of MPD/SME; 3) the nominee will be less than 36 years of age before January 1st of the year the award is presented; and 4) the nominee will have made a significant contribution to the industry in either academics, research, operations, design, or engineering/ construction.

Attention: Call for Nominations has been issued. All nominations are due June 1.
