Professional Engineers Exam Committee  

The Professional Engineers Exam Committee shall have the duty and responsibility for the professional engineering examinations in mining/minerals engineering, including development of examination, and general policy directives, within the policies and procedures of the Board of Directors of the Society. The Committee will report to the Board on the salient statistics and recommended changes when necessary. All committee members shall be registered professional engineers and must attend the examination workshop (at SME Annual Meeting) and be prepared to supply and evaluate questions.

The SME Foundation provides the operating funds for SME's Professional Engineers Exam Committee, which is essential to so many of our members and their operating companies.
