And, don’t miss the SILENT AUCTION being held each day Monday thru Wednesday February 20 – 22, during the SME Annual Meeting. Gem and mineral specimens as well as equipment models and a plethora of nifty items are available for you to bid on and enjoy. Don’t forget to consider bidding on the two fabulous trips up for auction. The Carlin Mine trip for (4) to Elko, NV, generously donated by Newmont Mining Corporation and the Pebble Creek Copper Mine visit in Alaska, generously donated by Pebble Partnership Ltd., for (4) will be two of the most sought after items. You can find us in the exhibit hall at booth # 2243. Stop by and say hello to everyone from the SME Foundation.
Raffle ticket sales begin Sunday on arrival at SME Annual Meeting. You can purchase tickets from any Foundation Board Trustee or find them at the Annual Dinner on Sunday evening or at the Foundation Booth in the exhibit hall. We will once again be raffling off a gift certificate of $2,500 to Best Buy for the purchase of a Plasma TV and Blu-Ray player. Tickets will be $10 each or 3 or $25. Support your favorite 501(c)(3), the SME Foundation, while taking a chance on a great prize. You need not be present to win.
