Information Publishing Committee 
The Information Publishing Committee’s responsibilities shall be to study and make recommendations to the SME Board of Directors regarding individual publishing proposals submitted to the Society; the Committee shall "watch dog" accepted publishing proposals to ensure that the final product adheres to the quality standards anticipated at the time of approval; the Committee shall make recommendations as it deems advisable to the Board of Directors regarding policy for the Society’s information publishing programs; and the Committee shall endeavor to make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding long-range planning for and development of publishing programs.
