Shotcrete Field Trip May 6, 2008 9:00am - 2:00pm.
The project site is: East Side Access Project. This is a LIRR/MTA project to increase capacity for the Long Island Railway and partnering metropolitan rail services from LI and Queens to Grand Central Station in Manhattan.
The project site is on Northern Blvd., in Long Island City. The demo site is across the street, also on Northern Blvd., in an area that was used for off peak train storage. This area will become part of the project as construction progresses, but is available for storage and our demo at present. We will likely assemble at the security office of the job site entrance and then move to the demo site.
