Minerals and Metallurgical Processing Journal - Student Poster Contest   

SME's Mineral and Metallurgical Processing Division held its 2013 student poster contest at the SME Annual Meeting in Denver. All of the entries were very good. The winners of the contest in two categories are as follows:

Undergraduate
  • First place: Katrina Swanson, Michigan Technological University
  • Second place: Paul Hagadone II, Michigan Technological University
  • Third place: Kari Knott and Travis Willhard, University of Utah

Graduate
  • First place: Brett Spigarelli, Michigan Technological University
  • Second place: Howard Haselhuhn, Michigan Technological University
  • Third place: Caelen Anderson, Colorado School of Mines

Congratulations, winners, and a big thank you to everyone who participated – your research is the future of this industry!
