MMSA/SMEF Presidential Scholarship  

The SME Foundation supports all efforts to recruit talented students for the minerals industry. MMSA is dedicated to promoting and improving the understanding and appreciation of the role played by mining and metallurgy in the United States. Through this joint program, the MMSA/SMEF Presidential Scholarship is awarded on an annual basis to an outstanding student whose study program encompasses any aspect of the extractive minerals industry.

Scholarships

For the minerals sector to remain competitive in recruiting talented students, the Foundation provides scholarships to students majoring in studies that encompass aggregates, coal, industrial minerals, metals, and related mineral sciences.
