  • H.R. 5077, The Coal Jobs Protection Act of 2014, To amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to provide guidance and clarification regarding issuing new and renewal permits.
  • H.R. 5078, Waters of the United States Regulatory Overreach Protection Act of 2014, To preserve existing rights and responsibilities with respect to waters of the United States.
  • H.R. 4854, Regulatory Certainty Act of 2014, To amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to clarify when the Administrator of the EPA has the authority to prohibit the specification of a defined area, or deny or restrict the use of a defined area for specification, as a disposal site under section 404 of such Act.

  • H.R. 1459, “Ensuring Public Involvement in the Creation of National Monuments Act”  Curtails the Presidents' authority to designate national monuments that protect public lands from mineral development and other impacts.
  • H.R. 2641, “Responsibly And Professionally Invigorating Development Act (RAPID) of 2013” To provide for improved coordination of agency actions in the preparation and adoption of environmental documents for permitting determinations.
  • H.R. 4012, The Secret Science Reform Act of 2014, To prohibit the Environmental Protection Agency from proposing, finalizing, or disseminating regulations or assessments based upon science that is not transparent or reproducible.

  • H.R. 2467, Abandoned Mine Lands Cleanup and Taxpayer Fairness Act, “To provide that production of all locatable minerals from mining claims located under the general mining laws, or mineral concentrates or products derived from locatable minerals from such mining claims, shall be subject to a royalty of 12.5 percent of the gross income from mining.”
  • H.R. 1972, State Mineral Revenue Protection Act  “To amend the Mineral Leasing Act to require the Secretary of the Interior to convey to a State all right, title, and interest in and to a percentage of the amount of royalties and other amounts required to be paid to the State under that Act with respect to public land and deposits in the State”
  • H.R. 524 “To amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to clarify that EPA does not have the authority to disapprove a permit after it has been issued by the Secretary of the Army under section 404 of such Act.”
