This self-paced, video-hybrid course provides a detailed look at efficient planning and operation of draglines, which is a critical aspect to the majority of surface coal mines throughout the world. Additionally, very few university programs offer in-depth studies of draglines, and after-market training is primarily available through infrequently scheduled seminars. As a result, most training is received on the job. This course provides an excellent primer on the subject.
