Mark your calendar -  RaSiM10 comes to Tucson, Arizona in late April 2022.

RaSiM10 will provide a public forum to share scientific advances in the state-of-the-art, to introduce technical innovations, to discuss the state-of-practice in engineering and mine operations in seismically active mines experiencing rockbursts.

The conference will target the needs of the mining industry by sharing expertise in the following:

  • Mine asset management considering fragility of deep mine operations

  • Operational approaches to seismic management

  • Vulnerability of excavations, ground support and other damage control measures

    • rockburst damage mechanisms in mines and civil tunneling

    • support design and technologies

  • Advances in mine seismology

    • seismic data collection, processing and interpretation

    • seismic hazard assessment

  • Risk mitigation

    • mine design and sequencing

    • rock mass pre-conditioning and hydraulic fracturing

More information coming in the spring of 2021.
