SUMMARY:
Support with the development, review and dissemination of written, digital and visual communications for a range of marketing and organizational initiatives. Manage digital newsletter program, including developing, editing and creating newsletters. Work with the Director of Marketing to strategize and implement a strong media relations program. Provide webinar and event marketing support.

Content development

- Manage association newsletters (The Drift, SMEF CRP, CMSP) including:
- Responsible for maintaining annual content calendars, developing, curating and editing content
- Create and deploy e-newletters on deadline to appropriate targeted audiences
- Provide reporting and analysis on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Oversee review and editing of organizational content to maintain voice, style and accuracy. Work with business units to ensure brand consistency
- Support development of web content and review and edit content prior to publishing
- Provide appropriate keyword tagging and metadata information
- Manage association newsletters (The Drift, SMEF CRP, CMSP) including:
Media relations

- Manage media database
- Work with the Director of Marketing and business unit stakeholders to develop content for new releases to elevate the mining industry, SME and relevant issues in the news cycle
- Facilitate media partnerships to support event marketing, including developing trades, providing materials, and tracking
Presentation/Video Support

- Scripting for videos, presentations and sales/sponsorship pitches
- Support with visual development of slide decks
Marketing Support

- Work with the programming team to host webinars
- Conference and event support
- Provide light graphic, video and email support as needed

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
- 3+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
- Ability to craft compelling, customer-centric messaging while maintaining brand voice. Samples of past work will be required.
- Must also be able to tell a story visually. Experience with email editing software, Adobe Suite and Microsoft PowerPoint are a must. Video software is a huge added plus, but not required.
- Ability to work in both independently and within a group dynamic.
- Strong attention detail.
- Team player who can also move a project through to completion
