Sponsor Resources for Teachers

Are you or your company interested in participating – even from afar—at a National Science Teaching Association (NSTA) area convention? Teachers love seeing local businesses and mining companies show interest in learning. It’s a great way to shed a positive light on the industry. Your support helps to pay for the rock and mineral boxes, as well as printing expenses at either the Nov. 19-21 New Orleans or the Dec. 10-12 Phoenix NSTA events this year.

Thank you to the SME Pittsburgh Section for sponsoring the mineral sample kits for the October NSTA area convention.

SME Foundation Golf rescheduled for the Fall

Join us Friday, October 2nd in Phoenix for a day of golf at the Gold Canyon Golf Resort in Gold Canyon, AZ to raise funds in support of the vital education, outreach and personal development programs that benefit SME members, the community and the mining and metallurgy industry.
