The Stewart R. Wallace Memorial Library

SME.jpgThe Stewart R. Wallace Memorial Library is a publicly available resource dedicated to serving the information needs of engineers, geologists, metallurgists, students, and researchers in the minerals industry.

The library’s collection encompasses extractive metallurgy, tunneling and underground construction, mining engineering, plant design, and more. The library also provides onsite access to the OneMine.org database, a comprehensive collection of technical papers, conference papers and articles from participating societies around the world.

Research:

Visitors are encouraged to peruse the shelves, research within the Stewart R. Wallace Memorial Library, and ask questions of Library staff during open hours. The collection does not circulate.

Research assistance is available both on-site and remotely. The library is available Fridays, 8 am to 4:30 pm for walk-in visits or by appointment. Researchers are encouraged to contact the librarian for research assistance in advance of any visit. Access our online catalog to search for materials by subject, title, author or keyword.
