What Type of Member Are You?
Student members of UCA have excellent opportunities to network with their peers and industry professionals. Becoming a member of the society and utilizing the benefits is an important first step when choosing to pursue a career in the minerals industry.
A Registered Member is a scientist, engineer or technologist who is involved in various ways with the discovery, extraction and utilization of minerals, metals and energy sources. The membership includes geologists and other geoscientists, mining engineers and metallurgists, environmentalist, other engineers and other scientists and technologists.
A Professional Member is employed in an area relevant to minerals exploration, extraction, production, processing, economics or metallurgy, including employment as an educator, engineer, scientist (including chemistry or any related earth science)

A UCA Individual Member is a professional currently working in the tunneling or underground construction industry.
