NIOSH to Host Special Session at MINExpo
NIOSH will host a special session at MINExpo International 2008 on September 23-24. “Safety and Health Interventions for Mining” will cover ten important topic areas where NIOSH has made significant progress toward the goal of a safer and healthier mining workplace.

Researchers will present ten current research topics for 15 or 30 minutes each. Attendees are encouraged to attend any or all of these talks to gain insight into the state of mining health and safety research, related to the topics listed on the schedule. The session will be presented on Tuesday, September 23 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM and repeated on Wednesday, September 24 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon in room N226 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
