How do I sign up for membership and save 40%?
Join here or click on one of the buttons above. You’ll be asked to create a SME website account first and then provide some information about yourself before you pay for your membership.

How long will my membership last?
SME’s membership plans are based on the calendar year. Your membership will be active through 12/31/24.

What is the cost of my membership?
A 2024 SME Professional membership is $192 for the full calendar year, but with this offer, you’ll receive a partial-year membership through 12/31/24 for only $112. It’s a great way to try out all of SME’s valuable benefits and you’ll save 40%.

What happens after I join SME?
After you join, you’ll receive a series of onboarding emails with more information about your benefits. You’ll also begin receiving member emails about upcoming conferences, networking opportunities, publications and other items of interest to fuel your mining career. Last but not least, you’ll be invited to participate in networking events like SME’s monthly Midweek Member Mixers (hear a short talk on a technical topic followed by discussion with other members) and Membership: Ask Me Anything sessions (get your membership questions answered).
